The Survey Foundry:
The FSUSF team serves as a support system for faculty and graduate student research. Assistance with project methodology and analysis design can be provided for proposal development and the SF team can serve as collaborators on funded research.
Purpose:
The FSU Survey Foundry (FSUSF), a unit of the Institute of Science and Public Affairs at Florida State University, exists to provide a research resource for measuring public opinion on a board variety of interests and policy concerns for university researchers, state and local government, non-profit organizations, and others in need of public opinion research services.
Vision:
Promoting teaching, research, and public service goals throughout the University, and community.
Mission:
The FSUSF team serves as a support system for faculty and graduate student research by:
- Conducting various forms of data collection, process collected data, and data entry
- Developing reliable questionnaires, manage both focus and discussion groups in order to gather data.
- Having training workshops which cover topics such as sample design, frame development, survey management, date entry, mode comparisons, and similar topics.
- Sampling data which enables us to generate comprehensive reports
